Frequently Asked Questions

Booking Your Tour

Why should I book an independent cruise excursion, apart from the cruise line?
If you prefer smaller group sizes, not feeling like you are being herded from A to B and experiencing more authentic excursions led by locals than booking an independent cruise excursion is the choice for you. Generally, prices will be 10-40% cheaper than booking through the cruise lines, but most people find the real value comes in the smaller, more intimate experience.
What is your cancellation policy?
We allow cancellations up until 24 hours before your schedule tour departure time for most tours. There are no refunds issued for cancellations inside of 24 hours. Any tours requiring 48 hour cancellation will be cleary noted in the tour description.
What are the most popular things to do in Costa Maya, Mexico?
Costa Maya is famous for beautiful beaches along the once-fishing-town of Mahahual. Snorkeling and diving along the Mesoamerican reef is fantastic. Lounging at one of the many fine beach clubs and kayaking or soaking is the sun is a favorite. Heading inland, visiting Bacalar Lagoon for a boat ride is probably the top attraction while the lesser-known Mayan ruins in the area make for a fantastic cultural experience too.
