Snorkel Boat Tour in Search of Turtles
Description
Dive into the tranquil waters of a shallow reef lagoon on your next visit to Costa Maya. Just off the shores of Mahahual on a short 15-minute boat ride, you'll visit two distinct snorkeling sites: one graced with sandy patches and seagrass where hawksbill turtles roam and another near the vibrant coral reef heads bustling with tropical fish.
Our tour, lasting 1.5 hours, gives you one full hour in the water to experience this underwater wonderland. You may have a chance to see eels, lobster, turtles, fish, corals and more!
Our friendly guides are great at accommodating all skill levels so you can experience the beautiful, clear Caribbean waters as you snorkel Costa Maya. You'll be exploring the protected reef lagoon with an average depth of about 1.80 meters. This means calm waters shielded from the open sea by the natural barrier of the reef. The experience is beginner-friendly and highly immersive.
